Service target
ONE WAY service was designed mainly for private persons, small to medium size companies and works very nice in internet clubs, internet cafes, offices but it wasn't designed to be used by providers.
Equipment costs around 140 Euro and this means: DVB card, satellite dish and LNB. The equipment is so cheap because it is only the receiving part and does not contain the transmit component, so an internet link is necessary. The price is a great advantage from TWO WAY, which costs 16 times more than ONE WAY.
ONE WAY service is very helpfull to the one who already has an internet link which is not enough for his needs.
The service works only if the user has an internet link who will be used for up link, in other words it will be used to transmit to internet what we want and the internet will reply through satellite 15-30 times faster than a standard dial up link.
Service advantages
A big advantage of this service is scalability. If the user wants small monthly traffic will pay less, if wants more traffic will pay more and if wants very much traffic will pay a fee for unlimited traffic service. The user can choose his traffic monthly and can move from one service plan to another without paying any taxes. This monthly fee is per example 1 GB - 33 Euro, 2 GB - 60.5 Euro, 3 GB - 77 Euro, 4 GB - 93.5 Euro, according with our price list.
For Romanian and European users another advantage is that is enough a small sized dish, easy to point and setup.

Of course a very important advantage is that installation takes short time. The most delicate operation is pointing the dish where we recommend to find someone professional to do this. The length of the cable from the dish to the DVB equipment can be up to 50 meters without any problems.
For technical visitors we have some informations: the ping through this satellite link is around 500-600 ms and you can listen radio stations or make video conference.
About equipment
The antenna offered by us inside the Satellite Kit - ONE WAY is 60 cm.
This dish size is enough for Romania or Europe as you can see in the footprint of our service.
But in the middle of tornado or though weather conditions like heavy snowing or raining, it is possible to lost the satellite signal for 15 minutes as long as it takes to the most hard part of this meteo turbulence to happen. If you place a bigger dish you will have less interruptions. However if the meteo conditions are extremely hard then any kind of the dish we use the interruptions are inevitable. From our experience we can tell that in one year happen around 3 heavy meteo situations so bad that the interruptions will take place at the receiving side (customer side). At up link side interruptions are practically impossible because the up link is made with professional equipment which works normal and correct regardless the meteo conditions.
We can conclude that ONE WAY service is usefull for the users who have internet link but wish a bigger speed or larger bandwidth than already have and the main strong point of this kind of service is it's flexibility, availability and easyness to install and use.

All monthly service have the same guaranteed speed: CIR 75 %.

Download center
Inside the ONE WAY service will be soon available Download center service. Through it the users will be able to receive high speed satellite unlimited downloads. The user will connect to internet, choose the file he desires and with the help of a free program offered by us will receive the downloads even if going off-line but have kept the computer turned on. There is possibility to receive the files of other users if that had chosen the option of public access. The service will run 24 h / day but the delivery side will work only between 6 PM -6 AM central European time.

One Way Browsing service has been released for the customers who want high speed browsing and small prices..
So this service has some special features:
Browsing 256 service

Normal environment:
- normally the speed you will always benefit of is 256 kbps.

Abuse environment:
- when the bandwidth is abused by the customer, the channel will decrease to 33 kbps.
|
|
Triggers:
- if the customer makes steady traffic bigger than 4 mb at a speed higher than 64 kbps, then the bandwidth will decrease to 33 kbps
starting with the 5th downloaded mb.

Browsing 400 service
|
Normal environment:
- normally the speed you will always benefit of is 400 kbps.

|
Abuse environment:
- when the bandwidth is abused by the customer, the channel will decrease to 96 kbps.

|
Triggers:
- if the customer makes steady traffic bigger than 40 mb at a speed higher than 64 kbps, then the bandwidth will decrease to 96 kbps
starting with the 45th downloaded mb.
